Questions about the dorms

So I went to the open house today, and of course the first thing I saw was the construction of the Livingston apartments. I know they're going to be open in September, but I was wondering if these apartments are for incoming freshmen as well? I'm not talking about the Towers. I don't want to put Livingston as my top priority on the housing application and end up in the Quads =/

This is just asking for opinions. I didn't get to see the Busch dorms today (soo much to do), but I'm also thinking about staying at the B.E.S.T. dorms. Are they really as nice as people claim it to be? Are the rooms spacious?

no on campus apartments are available to freshmen, especially not the livingston ones lol you’ll def end up in the quads or the towers

At this point, you will probably be housed on Livingston. Busch (BAMM/Davidson) fills up quickly; BEST is a living/learning building, not sure how hard it is to get in.

Do you actually list a preference for a dorm (ie BEST) or the campus? (ie Livingston, Busch) Busch were the nicer dorms. I didn’t get to see College Ave (which I understand is unlikely at this point) or Cook. Can anyone tell me about the dorms / campus at Cook?

dorms on cook arent that bad actually. i know freshmen get but in perry hall, gibbons, or voorhees. im pretty sure there are more that i dont remember. but dorms like perry and voorhees are just like you standard mixed gender floors with two bathrooms, a lounge and a mini kitchen per floor. rooms are pretty spacious. cook campus has this smell to it because its right next to the farms, but you get used to it after a while. its really not that bad of a campus
