I have a few questions about the application.

Under standardized testing, it asks for the Critical Reading/English score for my ACT. Should I put in my Crit score or English score? Also, for the Writing column, should I enter the writing subscore or the combined English/Essay score?

Under self reported academic record, is it ok if I just provide the final grade for the class? My school's transcript only has the final grade.

Do I have to send in my FAFSA form early if I'm applying by Oct 1, or can I send it in before the regular deadline of March 1st (something like that)?

For ACT, put in Math, ENGLISH (not reading), and Writing (combined score). That's what I did at least. They do not look at Writing for admissions anyway.

I'm not sure about the academic record thing, but my school only gave out final grades per semester, and I filled out the application fine.

You do not have to send in FAFSA early, as far as I know. FAFSA is unrelated to your actual application to the school.

Yes, only the math and English components, which is awesome!
I remember having only written down the final grades in my self-reported record. It's fine.

I think they ask you for semester scores anyway. My high school was on a semester system, and I put down two scores for each class I took (one grade per semester)

It is very important that you complete the Self-Reported Academic Record accurately. To do so, refer to grade reports and transcripts from your high school. You must list all academic course work and grades even if a course is repeated.

If you are admitted and plan to enroll, you must arrange to have an official high school transcript sent to Georgia Tech's Office of Undergraduate Admission by July 1st. We will use official high school transcripts to verify all grades. Any discrepancies may invalidate an offer of admission.

so no, they use your self-reported record and then require verification via the transcript if you matriculate there.

Thanks for the replies. Now for some more questions.

AP Chem, Bio, and Cal are all 2 semesters long. So we have a final grade at the end of each semester. I entered these grades into the first semester/second semester columns. Should I leave the final grade blank?

Also, I'm taking a AP Physcology online, through a distance learning program. I take the class during my period as Guidance Assistant so I don't know if it will show up on my official transcript. Should I still enter it in, and what designation should I give it?
