i am an incoming freshman, and i missed the bracket for the honors program by .05 in my gpa...
i was wondering, if i do really well my freshman year, can i gain admittance into the program? and if so, will my scholarships increase?
thanks for any help

Three things: #1) Your high school GPA does not determine acceptance into the honors program via the same brackets as what is used once you are in the program at Tulane. In other words a 3.6 can get you into the program after your freshman year (which answers #2) but having a 3.6 or even 3.7 in high school would not guarantee admission into the program coming into Tulane. For entering freshmen, they use GPA, strength of schedule, SAT/ACT scores, etc. to decide who is invited.

3) No, your merit scholarships don’t change even if you do very well your freshman year, but if you are getting need-based financial aid the amount of grant money often increases with a corresponding decrease in the loan amount.

you can join after your first semester with a good GPA, that’s what I did.

can you loft the beds in butler?

Yes, I believe you can raise the beds. I know my D fit all kinds of things under hers, including 2.5-3 foot 3 drawer storage units from Target.

yeah all the beds are loftable and stackable.
