Whoops, I mean honors not scholars.
Okay so I got accepted into the Honors Program in the College of Letters and Science and I have a couple questions.

Does this mean I'm automatically on the scholars floor?

Do I have to take Honors classes?

Does this help me get research opportunities (pre-biology major)?

If I am on the scholars floor, I won't be surrounded by kids who do nothing but study will I?

And if any one got accepted into honors as a freshman too, I'd love to talk to you. =) It would be nice to know some people who could be on my floor.

No, it does not. You need check that on the freshman residential hall application.

Yes, in order to maintain your honors status, you do need to follow a set of requirements. [Letters & Science Honors Program :: Earning Honors](http://www.honors.ltsc.ucsb.edu/earnhonors.php)

Not necessarily. Being an honors student doesn’t guarantee you research opportunities, but ripping the benefits of being an honors student (e.g getting A’s in all of your honors classes and using your priority registration wisely) will make you stand out and get research opportunities.

Not necessarily. People on the scholars floor are not all nerds or geeks. Some of them do party once in a while or maybe frequently.
