I am writing an essay and I need to know some info.

1) is there a train/subway station that is somewhat close to the campus? if so what is it called?

2)what color is the library building?

3) what is a name of a street that advertises a lot of organizations/clubs?what are some unique organizations? (e.g. ballroom dancing)

1) I live in Ann Arbor, and I know for sure that there's no subways around here. As for trains, I don't think there are any in the immediate area, I know there are some railroad tracks that run through, but I have no idea about stations... shows you how oblivious I am to my surroundings.

2) I'd say kinda brownish, although it depends what library you're talking about. Here's a link to a virtual tour of the ugli (undergrad library), decide what color it is for yourself: http://www.lib.umich.edu/ugl/tour/ Here's a wikipedia article with some more pictures: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Michigan_Library

3) I don't really get what you're asking about a specific street, but here's a list of all the clubs at UM: http://uuis.umich.edu/maizepgs/

"3) what is a name of a street that advertises a lot of organizations/clubs?"

i'd say the diag.. in front of the grad library where the M is.

There's definitely an Amtrak station in AA.

The UGLi is brown...it has bricks and whatnot. I'm sure you can find a piture.

The diag is definitely where all of the clubs are during the first week of school to recruit kids.

There is a special day for that called Festifall that takes place during the first week of classes. (I believe it usually takes place on a Thursday, but I could be wrong.) At the beginning of winter semester, there is another similar (but much smaller) event in the Union called Winterfest at which the students can join other organizations that they didn't have time to joing during first semester.
