Hi I am a student at CCSF right now and about to finish my second year, I was originally a business major and switched to engineering, so it will take me another semester or two to finish my 60 transfer credits. I will have a gpa right now of 3.4 and will probably get that up to a 3.5 or 3.6 by the time I transfer, what are my chances of getting into UCBerkeley?
Admission to UCB is really competitive - even as a transfer. A 3.4-3.6 is unlikely to do the trick.
I encourage you to apply but, take advantage of the TAG (Transfer Guarantee) program to solidify your spot at another campus. (UCB, UCLA and UCSD don’t participate in TAG)
