Questions About Transferring

Hi!

I'm currently a student at a community college in Florida. I've taken 24 credits so far and I have a 4.0 GPA. My major is physics. I plan to get an A.A. at this community college before transferring to a university.

I'd like to know if I have a chance of getting into this university. I don't have a regular high school diploma; I have a GED.

I intend to finish my A.A. with a 4.0 GPA. I've only been at this school for one regular semester and a summer. I wish to know my chance and what might help me get in. I will possibly be tutoring physics this semester as a job in the school, and I'd like to know if that helps.

Thank you!

I would say your chances are strong. Any extracurricular activities are better than none. Tutoring is a definite bonus.

If you maintain a strong GPA your chances remain excellent.

Love Maryland and I am sure you wouldn’t be disappointed!

Thanks for your opinion  I’m also wondering if I would have to take the ACT or SAT. Would I have to give my high school transcript even if I got a GED? I did really bad in high school.

I do hope that you’re right. :)
