Questions about UC to UC transfer

I recently applied to UCI,UCB,UCLA, and UCSD and was accepted to every school except LA, which was sort of unlucky, since UCLA was my top choice (The biggest reason would be if I couldn’t afford housing after the first year I could just commute their since it’s close to my home.) For now I’m deciding between UCI or UCB (and with that SIR deadline coming, I have to decide fast), and I plan to try and transfer to UCLA later. I’ve been reading about transfering between UC campus, and was wondering about a few details. From UCLA’s website, it says they give priority to CC and UC transfers, although it doesn’t specify if their both equal when it comes to priority. Also, I was wondering if the school I go to has any effects on my admission (For example, transfering from UCB would give me a greater chance than coming from UCI or vice versa). From what I’ve read so far, if I have a high GPA and maintain a decent number of EC’s, I’d have a pretty good shot at transfering. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, I heard CSU to UC transfer is pretty hard. Any details on that?

CSU transfer to UC is essentially impossible, according to both CSU and UC admissions staff.

I believe CC transfers have priority over UC transfers (b/c they have nowhere else to go, as juniors).

dont listen to him, i know plenty of people who went from CSU to UC or UC to another UC. UCLA may be a little difficult but with the right gpa (3.7+) you should be able to pull it off.
