Questions About UCLA (Please Help!)

Hello!

I was recently accepted to UCLA from the waiting list and I have a few questions about the school that I am hoping can be answered.

1.) What is dorm life like? How many people to a dorm?

2.) How is UCLA's meal plan? How much money do we get average per day?

3.) How hard is Biology major? Is it VERY VERY VERY competative?

4.) How hard is it to transfer into engineering?

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this! :D

Dorm life is what you make of it. But in general, the people in Los Angeles tend to be really into themselves and not put much emphasis on others. 1-3 people can be in a dorm, but 3 people is the usual for new students.

Food is really good here. 11, 14, or 19 meals a week.

I wouldn’t recommend attending this school if you plan to go to med school.

Same as above.

Thank you for your response :D

Quick question, why would you not recommend it for attending medical school?

1) I lived off-campus, but seems fun. Also a great way to make friends.
2) UCLA has the best food of all UC’s!!
3) I’ve only taken one bio, but bio majors seem to love it. Lots of pre-meds so people vibe off each other, lots of info and help for pre-meds.
4) Can be done, but difficult.
