I am new at all of this college information and I wanna know if you do not pay your monthly fee at your university, do you get kicked out? Do you get your diploma even if you still owe? Thanks!
Monthly fee? Most colleges bill by the term. Some schools have a monthly payment plan that is usually run by a third party.
If you don’t pay your bills, you will not be permitted to register for courses. If you somehow register, and don’t pay your monthly payment plan…and therefore owe the college money…you won’t be permitted to register for the following term until you pay up. Oh…and your transcripts will be frozen so you won’t be able to transfer either.
And no…most schools won’t give you a diploma if you owe them money.
If you don’t think you can pay your bills at some college…don’t go there.
Why are you asking this question.
Are you the parent or the student?
Have you gotten all your acceptances? If your family can’t pay for a school, take it off the list. If you don’t pay your bill they won’t let you enroll. If you’re at college and quit paying you might be allowed to finish the semester, but you won’t be permitted to come back. And you won’t get your degree until you pay everything you owe.
Aren’t there affordable schools in CA that you can attend? Pick oneyour family can afford.
