I have questions regarding the writing supplement questions section of the USC application where it asks me to record my academic history.
I took courses in jr. high applicable to courses in high school such as Spanish IA/IB. My transcript also lists this course as 9th grade, not 8th grade. But I also took Spanish IIA/IIB in the actual 9th grade year. How should I record Spanish IA/IB? I also failed Algebra IA/IB in jr. high but I made the class up in the summer before 9th grade, but this too is recorded as what I did in 9th grade. In the actual 9th grade, I took Geometry IA/IB, so I recorded this for the math courses section. Does USC not want you to list summer courses?
During 10th grade I took Algebra II/Trig. A/B. I got a D- the first semester, but made up the semester during winter break to pass with a B. I do not know how to record this in the 10th grade mathematics courses section. Should I record the original grade I received for the first semester or the grade I passed the semester with?
I’m freaking out about this right now. Anyone that can help please do and thank you!
