<p>I've spent almost all of my lifetime around animals, I love every single animal I come upon.</p>
<p>The problem is, I can't see myself opening these animals up to do surgery or anything such as, is there any way to become a vet but not have to do surgery?</p>
<p>Is this an ethical consideration, or are you squeamish? Surgery is an important part of animal care both in life saving situations and spay/neuter.<br>
Perhaps you’ d find vet-tech work appealing? Even then I don’t know that you could opt out of assisting with surgeries.</p>
