Questions about W's

I'm a senior in HS taking 6 units and an AP class. However, I'm really concerned about one of my classes. I am in a Sociology class where I'm probably going to get a C (or at the most a high B). I really REALLY don't want to get a C in Sociology, especially when I am not even a freshman in college yet. If I get a W, I plan on taking the course again when I'm a full-time student at my CC. I heard that W's are like a fail in grad school, and a fail when I transfer. I plan on transferring to UCB or UCSB when that time comes. Does a W sound better than getting a C? Thank you!

Ws are better than Cs. They don’t **** up your GPA, and as long as you don’t have 20, schools don’t care.
