Questions about your admissions experience with USC

hello!
ok, so my school is asking a few of the student council seniors to talk to junior classes about our experiences with applying to colleges and i took on talking about my experience with USC, but thought it'd be more informative if i got some feedback from the lovely people on this board.

so.. just write up ANY suggestions/tips/'i wish i knew...'/"i wish i did..."/etc you have in general and i'll make sure to include them!

also, i forgot how much i paid for the application fee, can someone refresh my memory please?

thanks!

i wish i did part 1 and got the $15 discount on the app fee

and i wish i did all my financial stuff online

and i wish i did EA to more schools
and now i REALLY wish i just EDed to a school…

but alas, the economy…

I wish I had prepared a more impressive resume. I have letters of rec, tons of ECs, 1000+ hours of community service, graduating HS a year early, 6 AP classes, a ton of community college classes, but my GPA is lacking, and while my SAT is Ok, just over 2000, I know it couldve been better. I wanted to go since 8th grade, but never expected to even apply. Now I kinda feel like im borderline between yay and nay

Collegeboard says the app fee is 65$

Make sure you tell them about CC! The Stickie at the top of the USC threads, “FAQ for USC Admissions” started by Nikara, has lots of useful information.

USC’s admissions office is, by far, one of the most helpful ones out there.

It’s really easy to email them with a question, and they’ll respond within 3 days.
