Questions anyone?

Im BORED college frosh attempting to study for finals.....I'm willing to answer any questions from perspective students....ask away

Is it snowing yet? hahaha... but more seriously...

What is your favorite/least favorite thing about U Mich? What activities are you active in? Hows the food? Are the you have met seem friendly? What are the dorms like?

In answer to your joke question it flurries everday.

Seriously now. Favorite thing about UM is the friendliness of everybody here, coming from the ECoast that is wonderful. Least favorite thing I would have to say would be hmmm thats a tough one, probably that its cold and snowy already, but I love Michigan and wouldn't trade it for anything so I can deal with that. The food varies from dorm to dorm, but the food is great in South Quad, Barbour (where I live), and supposedly Bursley on North Campus. I'm extremely active in Dance Marathon (which raises money for pediatric rehabilitation www.umdm.org) that takes up a LOT of time, but its an amazing organization and I sometimes am on the radio for WCBN talking about sports (also a great group of people). I would have to say that everybody is friendly here exception for the exception of a few (no names). The dorms each have there own flavor, ranging from very small to gigantic, but no matter where you end up living it'll be fine. One of the reasons why I chose to come here (other than the sports enthusiasm which was important to me to have school spirit) GO BLUE! is that the people here are extremely friendly.

How did it feel to loose to OSU? :(

Would they be friendly to an OSU fan? :(

i kid i kid

So why aren't you studying for finals?!?!?!?!!!!

How big are your dorms? Any roomate horror stories?

I'm studying for finals....I only had 2...Stats 350 and Spanish 232.... I took Stats so all i have left is Spanish monday and this is a good study break.

The dorms range from 75 (Fletcher) to 1200 (Bursley and Markley) both are over 1000.

Yes I have a horror roommate actually but for the opposite reasons of most people. She goes to bed by 10PM and requires complete silence and darkness, hates a little bit of clutter, little stuff like that. The stupidest thing shes done yet is moved the refrigerator behind the door so that it doesnt open all the way anymore and she can't understand why I don't like it there.....

Loosing to OSU was very depressing....my bf got to go to the game with his friends I was very jealous (however it was dangerous to be a UM fan there)

iolllloi, it is spelled "losing". I expect such a spelling error from a Buckeye fan! hehe

nsdances, you are a Wolverine...you are excused for not spelling the word correctly, since we Wolverines are not familiar with the concept of "losing"! LOL

I'm sorry about the spelling error I have no idea how that happened, but it won't happen again!

what college are you currently at?
what were your stats/time of applying?
are you a pistons fan? ^^
how is the food at umich?
what other colleges did you apply to last year and why did you choose umich over all the ones you got accepted to?

sorry if thats too many questions..you don't have to answer them all =). I just figured that if you were bored, i'd throw out a few.

im in LSA
I had a 1250 SAT when I applied last Oct. 14 accepted on Dec 17th!
Out of State
3.67 UM GPA
Good recs, great essays etc.
My boyfriend (whos from MI) has turned me into a michigan fan
The food is ok....i mean its actually pretty good considering its college
I also applied to American, Brandeis, Emory, GW, Lehigh, UMass, University of MD College Park, Univeristy of Miami, University of Pennsylvania, Rutgers, Syracuse, and WUSTL
I choose UMich over all of those because well, I got into 9/13 (WL Emory and GW) Rejected UPenn(double legacy first deferred) and WUSTL
Out of the rest I got into, I just kinda wanted to go here for the larger school atmosphere and the school spirit, great academics and the work hard- play hard mentality.
