Questions applying to Yonsei Underwood International College (UIC)

See, I am a foreign student currently in Indonesia attending International school with Cambridge Curriculum since elementary(So i took IGCSE & As levels) but I don’t really know to whether take A levels seriously or not. This is because my friends who applied to the US & Canada submitted their application without their A level certificate, only As level & others. They got accepted (One of them got accepted in UC Davis, and the other one Waterloo Canada) So I am not sure if it is required for Yonsei UIC to submit A level certificates. (The reason why they did not submit it is due to the submission deadline being before their A level, thus they only could submit their As level).

I heard that it is way easier to get accepted into UIC if you are a foreign/international student so a decent score (IGCSE, TOEFL, AS level, A level) would be enough as long as you have the money (As UIC is quite pricey). Is this actually true? Please i really need to know this one (If it is true , I am in luck then). Money is not the problem (sorry if it sounded so cocky) but another problem rises, qualification of being an International Student. If the above is true, of course it would be much better to apply as an international student (Due to the higher chance of getting accepted). I am Indonesian and holds an Indonesian passport. UIC stated that to be qualified as an International Student, your parents must not be a Korean citizenship. Not even one. The problem is here, my mom is Indonesian and holds an Indonesian passport so she is not the problem. BUT my father is born in S Korea. He recently changed his nationality into Indonesian from S Korean, he probably have an Indonesian passport. So I’m not sure if he is still considered as a Korean Citizenship or not.

Another question, if my father is still considered as a Korean Citizen then probably im not considered as an International Student. But there is this thing called Overseas Korean Student track (Where you study all your years overseas) and Im pretty sure I am qualified. So will the admission and the chance of getting accepted be the same or as easy as getting in as an international student?

Thank you so much for taking your time reading this and please help out if you know a thing or two, i would really appreciate it.

If you can submit tests then do so. If you can’t then get an official score report and send it with your physical application documents. Also note it on your application both online and on paper.
Unless he has officially revoked his citizenship then you are still overseas Korean, I don’t know the process as I am not Korean in any way, but it’s stated on the website. It is easier to apply as an international student (sorry) but I can’t give you a true statistic. If you have a question about that I would ask a person who goes by akoreanvlogger via YouTube or Instagram. He’s a senior right now and applied as an overseas Korean from Canada I believe.
Applying as a Korean also means that you can only apply for entry in spring, if that’s a consideration.
I was admitted as an international student and I’m fairly qualified. My roommate, who would have had to apply as an overseas Korean, didn’t even apply because she didn’t think she could get it and her stats are only a bit lower than mine.
