Questions concerning conditional admittance to Cal Poly (Slo) for transfer students.

I am transferring from a CC to Cal Poly for the Fall 2014 quarter. I was accepted under the heading of conditional admittance. One of the conditions is that I must maintain the same academic standard. Since I applied my GPA has dropped by a little over a point. Will this affect my admittance? I have completed all the classes I had listed when I applied. Any information is appreciated, thank you in advance.

A little over a point? That’s concerning. Rather than wonder about it here on this site and only receive guesses, you should immediately call CalPoly. They will have the EXACT answer you need.

I’m sorry T26E4, not a point. My GPA has dropped a little over .1

Oh jeez. You are WAY overthinking this. Here’s a perspective for you:

Cal Poly to you: fantastic college, fun times, personal growth and expansion, degree leading to career success!

You to Cal Poly: Loads of tuition money.

They aren’t going to cast you aside. Relax and enjoy the summer. Best of luck to you at the new college!

Thanks T26E4! I appreciate the perspective.
