I'm currently a junior in college, and I've recently decided to major in Accounting. During my freshman year I've taken Principles of Accounting, but the thing is, its been 2 years since I've taken this course and I don't remember anything at all. Next semester i'll be taking Accounting information system and Financial Accounting I. Will this hurt me in any way? Or is it ok not to remember anything from Principles of Accounting?

In my intermediate I class, the first 1/3 of the class was focused on principles stuff, but in much greater detail. I feel like I had an advantage for that first 1/3 since I completed my previous accounting class 4 weeks earlier, but if you spend an extra hour per chapter for that first 1/3 you will be fine.

I have not taken acounting info systems yet.

I’m in a similar situation. Completed Principles 1 & 2 recently, will take Acct. Info Systems spring 2010 and then will take Intermediate I in fall 2010. I hope I’ll be fine because I’ll probably forget a lot of stuff in the meantime.
