questions for admissionsdaniel

Admissionsdaniel,

Just a few quick questions!

Where is the best place to explain research we have done on the common application? In the Additional information section? Submit the abstract of the report as a supplement to the application?

Where is the best place to put internships? There is an option for ‘internship’ in the extracurriculars drop-down menu, but there is also a section for ‘work experience’.

Thanks!

Woops, I forgot one:

Does JHU take into consideration foreign examinations throughout high school, like the British IGCSE? If so, where can I submit these scores on the common application? And, do these scores fullfill the SAT II "reccommendation"?

Thanks again!

I thought all universities look at 10th to 11th grade....At least for UM. Doesn't that mean we would have to write down our IGCSE results?

Answers to 1., 2., and 3. -- if applying online, the best place to put all this information is in the Additional Information section. Or you can mail it in as supplemental information.

And yes, we do want to see you foreign exam scores but no they do not fulfill SAT II recommendations.
