I am currently looking to attend a Canadian MBA program then land an investment banking position, I've been doing some research about my top choices which are University of Toronto(Rotman), University of Western(Ivey) and York University(Schulich). The problems with the research I have is that it is inconsistent , for example, the websites of these schools say that recruiters from I-banks stationed in Canada recruit a good amount of graduates to fill Canadian positions (I read an article that stated "more than 50% of Ivey graduates go into I-banking, and 90% of graduates from Rotman find jobs in consulting and finance firms" Canadian Business Magazine). However, I've read posts on this site that say for the most part I-banks do not recruit from Canadian schools, Amercian I-bankers are just brought up from the U.S to fill Canadian positions. Are there any Canadian I-bankers, Canadian MBA's and/or Canadian MBA alumni that are able to provide me with accurate info regarding this topic? Also, which Canadian school is the hottest hunting ground for I-banks stationed in Canada?

The statement I quoted from Canadian business magazine is incorrect, more than 50% get into I-banking and management consulting which is part of that percentage also. Sorry about that!
