questions for current rpi students...

<p>hi. im a high skool senior.
i applied to quite a few accelerated/combined medical programs.</p>

<p>Two of the programs i applied to include the 7 year physician/scientist prog at rpi AND the 8 year ba/mba/md program at union college in schenectady.</p>

<p>here's my situation. Let's say hypothetically that i get accepted into both programs [which i doubt but i can hope]. these r my top two choices. which do i pick? the biggest reason of why i am hesitant to go to to rpi [even tho its 7 year program is first class] is because i want a good social scene when i go to college.</p>

<p>so... can a current rpi student tell me how the social scene at rpi is?.. also... could i get ur screenname on aim possibly if ur interested in talking to me</p>

<p>like i have heard alot of negative things... thats its really nerdy etc. then others have said that "its not that bad".</p>

<p>r there enuff girls?
r they hott?
r there enuff parties?
am i gonna hate the place?
is there enuff stuff to do if i look for it?</p>

at RPI by itself, No
at all the nearby schools, Sage, Sienna, SunyA, yes</p>

<p>r they hott?
the RPI ones, generally not
sage, little better
sienna, pretty good looking
sunyA, lots of hotties</p>

<p>r there enuff parties?
plenty of parties and bars, lots of underage drinking</p>

<p>am i gonna hate the place?
probably, it is engineering school</p>

<p>is there enuff stuff to do if i look for it?
what type of stuff do you want to do?</p>
