Hello! I am currently applying to Soka RD for the Fall 2015 term and have been very interested in this university for quite some time (I learned about the school from a friend who got accepted there and will be attending after a gap year). I come from a large public school of around 1,800 students on the East coast that offers the IB Program and AP courses galore (my Weighted GPA is 4.35/4.00 and SAT is 2020 with a few national awards and leadership roles). Would I have a chance of getting in and possibly getting a merit-based scholarship? How is it going to a school with a small student body? Also, can anyone give me some insight on the general life at SUA? Thank you! :)

Hi there! I just got in Soka University! I was informed on 26th November I think, way earlier than I thought. I’m hoping they would award me a lot of financial aid. However, I’m not sure if I will go there… Waiting for other colleges to come out and pretty nervous…

@Libellula97 Congratulations on the acceptance! Did you apply early action there?

Yes, I applied early action there Did you apply there? Are you planning to apply anywhere else?

Hi, I know this is 3 months too late, but if you still want to ask questions, I’m available. I’m a current freshman, c/o 2018.
OP, are you perhaps referencing Nick when you speak of a friend on gap year who is coming to Soka afterward?
