Questions from a CS major

I was talking to my LSA advisor and she said CoE is less likely to accept you as a cross-campus transfer if you're later in your bachelor career because of the added time it will take to get an engineering degree. I was wondering if that is different for CS majors in LSA that are just planning on going to CoE for the BS Eng... Because I would take the same classes that the students in CoE would, would my chances decrease at all if I didn't, lets say, make it into CoE the first 1 or 2 years I tried transferring in and tried again on the 3rd? It seems like Computer Sciences in LSA is probably the most fortunate one to have if you're trying to get into CoE, no?

Is a BS Eng. from CoE a lot different than just a BS from LSA? Will job prospects be lower with an LSA degree? by how much? Will graduate programs notice the difference?

I’m pretty sure it’s the same thing. You get access to all the same career resources.

Thanks for the response… Anybody else want to comment?..pleeaasse?
