Questions from an incoming transfer.

Hello! First of all, I'm really excited about Northwestern. I'm a sophomore transfer into WCAS.

How hard is it to get into a class from the waitlist? I'm looking specifically at English 206: Reading and Writing Poetry, since I aspire to become a Writing major.

Does anyone here have experience with internships during the school year? Is it too late for me to apply for one in the fall?

Thanks, all.

Probably too late for the fall quarter.

If you want to get into a class which is critical for your major, send the professor and e-mail. They are usually pretty understanding. If the e-mail doesn’t work, stop by and visit them during the first week of classes.
