So first, a few general questions about the Euro FRQs, as literally everything but one of my short answer questions was released today. Does talking about Wilhelm II in the synthesis count as outside info? Secondly, what would CollegeBoard look for in terms of factors for and against railroads being a turning point in Euro History? Same question as above for the banking question about Amsterdam AND the question concerning Cohen’s argument for Scientific Revolution. I felt as if those questions were too easy, and that there’s something I might have overlooked.
On a different note, now that AP Euro is over, I’m looking into APUSH. However, I’ve heard that our APUSH teacher is similar to our AP Euro teacher, in that most everything you learn from that class you teach yourself, since they both don’t teach. I’m probably going to take CP US History, while teaching myself APUSH material to take the exam next year. Is this recommendable? Because at this point, due to interest in Computer Science and Engineering related classes, I can’t even fit APUSH into my schedule (note that those two classes in particular are two trimesters while APUSH is three). If someone could get back to me on a recommended plan for action and decent reasoning why, that’d be phenomenal.
