im applying for transferring to Cornell, undergrad. does anyone know sth about physics major in CAS? e.g. quality of education, faculty/student ratio, how many graduates could go to top grad schools for further study, or anything else.
i wish i could study physics in a top grad school like MIT, Princeton or CalTech. what do you think is the chance for a Cornell physics graduate to do so?

BTW, U Toronto vs. Cornell, which one do you think is better? in terms of physics program.

I majored in physics at Cornell, years ago. Classmates who did well there went to top graduate programs. But they were some of the smartest people I have ever met. Whether you will attain these top programs will depend mostly on whether you are as smart as those people. If you are, there is precedent to indicate that you can attain these top programs from Cornell.

thx a lot, monydad. really glad to hear that.
anyone has an idea whether Cornell is better than U Toronto in terms of undergrad physics program?

I suspect you would get more exposure to faculty and research opportunities as an undergrad at Cornell.
