1) For the section: C. Student's Tax Forms and Income Information (all applicants)

Regarding: Question 3. If you did not file and are not required to file a 2008 Federal income tax return, list below your employer(s) and any income received in 2008 (use the W-2 form or other earnings statement if available).

I'm not sure if I am supposed to fill out anything here. If I'm not, I should not leave it blank and should just put N/A and $0 right? However, my situation is a bit weird since I kind of worked during the summer, except I'm not sure if one can call it real employment that I should put down for this question. Since it was work for a family friend in her own store (no employees, like a mom and pop shop), I agreed to help out without any talk about pay, just to get some more experience and learn. I basically worked irregular hours, like whenever I was free and she needed help. I wasn't really concerned about any of the money, but I ended up receiving a total of about $350 I think (more or less) and maybe a little bit more to cover transportation fees. Being such a little amount, I'm not required to file a 2008 tax return and incidentally will not file one. I was given this amount of money in cash and I guess it was more of a stipend than a wage (?). I don't have any W-2 or any sort of earnings statements. So...am I still supposed to list this as a source of "income" for this question?

2) For the same question, but for section D. Parent(s)' Tax Forms and Income Information, since my parents is filing a 2008 tax return, this question doesn't apply. Should I leave it blank or fill it out with N/A and $0?

3) If I do list the work mentioned in my first question on the verification worksheet, I should also list it on my Student Non-Filer's Statement, right? But it also asks to "Please include supporting documentation for all income sources listed below." If I received my $350 in cash, how would I have any documentation to support this? Do I just fill in $350 and disregard supporting documentation? Or, again, does this "income" not apply to these financial aid questions? Would I then just put $0 as the total amount?

Sorry for such a long post and for such seemingly technical and stupid questions, but I want to make sure that I am doing this right. Any help, answers, comments, and suggestions are very much appreciated. Thank you.
