Hey, I just recieved the tution grant, 5k for study abroad, and the PA program invite. Is this the most they give for oos students, or will there be more? Oh and how many people recieve this scholarship? It it a big deal? Thanks

I mean based purely on statistics, you need to have a 33+ to get it, and the top 25% of the incoming class scored a composite 28+, it’s pretty prestigious. Also got the PA program and am looking forward to it. Are you a NMF? We get room & board plus a 4k scholarship. Also, if you selected MSU as your first choice school, you get 750-2k on top of that (if you are NMF). If you had a parent attend MSU, it’s 1500 more bucks/year.

I think they have something that equalizes oos tuition with instate rates ( I would assume you’d be qualified for it unless it is one of the ones for if you are a nmf and picked msu as your first choice)

Hey raza I got the same thing you did being from OOS. There are still chances for getting other scholarships - although you can’t necessarily rely on getting anything else. In July before I attended I got notification that I got a 2K/year “collegiate scholarship.” Not sure what for exactly, but just shows that you can get more scholarships. I seem to remember 150-200 students each year get the PA so it is relatively selective (based off your stats).
