<p>Hey guys im taking my first AP tomorrow (AP US) and want to know what things should i expect? What should i bring? And do we write the essays in pen?</p>
<p>Bring both pens and pencils.
Before you begin the FR, your instructor will go over the back of the FR packet with you. It tells you how long you get, whether it’s pen or pencil, and stuff like that</p>
<p>You should bring some pencils, some black or blue pens, a watch to pace yourself, and maybe a snack or small drink for the break. Writing the essays in pen is not only required but is also to your benefit, as you can write faster with a pen than a pencil. The only thing you can really expect for sure is that you’ll be testing for three hours.</p>

<p>I have APUSH tomorrow too (it’ll be my sixth…) and I just can’t wait until it’s over. I’m already hitting senioritis. </p>
<p>Bring lots of pencils, pens, erasor, and a watch that doesn’t beep so you keep time. Go to sleep early tonight, listen to some music in the morning, and hope for the best 
The worst thing you can do is panic during the test and mess up.</p>
