Questions on test prep books! (AP)

So here's what I've got because I ordered off of Amazon across the board.
I used Five Steps for my AP Language/Comp exam and got a 5 so I really liked their design though I felt it overly simplistic at times, it's better than the alternative.
AP Micro- 5 Steps
AP US Govt - 5 Steps
AP Lit - Barron's and 5 Steps (accidently bought Barron's a while back heh)
AP Bio - 5 Steps
Ah, also, found a Peterson's review for the SAT for $5! xD

Now I've heard that Princeton Review is good for Micro...and that CliffNotes is best of Bio. But honestly, money for me doesn't grow on trees so...how different is the quality between these two brands (Princeton vs Five Steps or Cliffnotes vs Five Steps)?

Also, is Peterson's reliable? I saw it and just snapped it up.

Thank you! x

That book for the SAT?
No, don’t do it.
There’s a new version of the BB which has like 3 new tests, use that one.

Why isn’t Peterson’s reliable? Could you give me some details/insight?

AP Bio - Cliff Notes
So many people swear by it and it’d definitely be worth it. I just got mine, and it’s very thorough and covers all the topics.

You really shouldn’t use any other SAT prep books other than the BB/BB2. Other prep books will just “confuse” you; they try to mimic CB’s style, but they ultimately fail…

And they don’t contain real SAT tests. Only real SATs will help you. Trust me. I mistakenly bought Kaplan’s 12 SAT practice tests and I’m contemplating whether I should recycle it or use it for my fireplace.

5 Steps I find often doesn’t have enough of the information needed for the test. I started using 5 Steps to a 5 for AP Biology because our school had extras (money doesn’t grow on trees for me either :p), but I found a copy of Barron’s online for around 7 dollars, and that helped tremendously. Often, you can find cheap copies on Amazon, and Barron’s is my favorite test-prep company because I feel like they will really prepare you.

Just my $0.02.
