questions on Upenn SAT II requirements (please help!)

hello I just wanted to ask a few questions relating to the SAT requirements for Upenn
here are some of the facts I know:

Penn requires all students to send all of their SAT scores, thus refuting the new college board policy of allowing students to super score

Penn only takes into account the top two SAT II scores of the student for the admission process

Penn requires two SAT II subject scores ( from different fields) from all students

I am confused because if all these are true, why would penn require students to send all of their sat scores if they’re only really looking at the top two sat II scores …? The reason why I ask this is because I have two fairly high SAT II scores (Math IIC and Biology; both above 750) but a very very abysmal SAT II USH score (below 700) And I was wondering if this major flaw would have any influence on my chances in getting into Upenn… Also, if it’s true that penn requires two sat II subject scores from different fields, does that mean I am inadequate in applying for penn simply with my math II C and bio exam ? (since math and bio are generally in the same math/science department…)
thanks! please answer my questions asap, i would really appreciate it:]

no influence. Penn won’t look at you USH score. Also, math and biology are two completely different subjects so that shouldn’t be an issue. (Regardless, I’m pretty sure they don’t actually say that you have to take tests from different subject areas, it’s just a way to show that you have multiple strengths.)

Firstly, the USH score should have next to no impact on your chances.

Secondly, Math II C and Bio are two different fields. By “the same field,” Penn presumably refers to exams like Math I and Math II.

Lastly, worry about the essays. They matter much more than that USH score =)

yay! that makes me immensely happy
haha okay thanks for all your help!
