Questions on Volunteering and TA and Choir for the Common App.

I was wondering if I could put down peer tutoring as part of the community service/volunteering part of the Common App? It was technically not official tutoring (not school organized or otherwise) but I nonetheless devoted a significant portion of high school to tutoring my peers in math, chemistry, and physics. Any thoughts?

Also, I have been a TA for one of the math teachers at my school. As a TA I was responsible for grading homework, papers, tests, creating and maintaining spreadsheets, organizing school wide student assistance days, as well as various other activities (making copies and the like).
What category would best fit? It was unpaid so academic, maybe job oriented? I have no idea.

Finally, I have done select choir for 3 years. One of the years we met before school, but the last 2 were an actual class. We've gone on two tours in the U.S. and hold various out of school performances (though probably less than 10 a year total). Would this be under the activities section of the Common App or not since it was technically a class (though it was auditioned and not mandatory)?

Thanks for any help!

I would definitely put the first two in your activities section. The third one I’m not sure if it’s technically extracurricular, but you would want to talk about it in the additional information section if you didn’t include it as an EC. Why don’t you ask the choir director what he/she thinks about it?
