I know this isn't the right section probably (I don't know where to put this), but I have a some questions concerning senior year grades.

I know the midyear calculation affects gpa in senior year, and that colleges look at your grades in senior year. Is the updated gpa included in the regular decision application, or is it sent or read after acceptance? Like, does it only really affect students that are on waitlist, or are gpas that are newly calculated considered when admissions officers consider you for admission?

When you send in your regular decision application, does it include your old gpa from the first 3 years of high school and your senior year grades, or does it include your cumulative gpa in 4 years? Do they accept/ waitlist/ deny you before reading the senior year updated gpas, or do they wait for that for a decision, and how much would a slight change affect the decision?

Say I'm taking full year courses. Do the midyear grades affect my gpa as much as it would as it would if i got the same grade at the end of my senior year?

Thanks!
