If we're using the common app online, is there a way to include a resume with it, or do we just have to shorten everything and leave stuff out (ECs, etc.)?

you can probably send the resume by mail if you need to.

Also: on the "Interests" section where they ask for likely major/certificate plans, my major choices are these:
1. History
2. Art & Archaeology
3. Politics

Certificate:
1. Visual Arts
2. Humantistic Studies
3. Medieval Studies

For the Certificate part, should I check "Visual Arts" plus the two others? Or is it already implied with the 2nd major choice? It seems like I'm supposed to check the Visual Arts box, too, but I just wanted to see what you all got from it...

I'm not sure I understand your question...

kebree, i think i got confused also when i put in the choices of certificates.
my choices of departments are:
1. operations research and financial engineering (BSE)
2. math
3. econs
so far, my choices of certificate programs are:
1. applied and computational math
2. creative writing
3. finance
overlap? i suppose so. is it ok? i don't know. will i ask them? i don't think so.

Mine overlap. I have Woody Woo for both major and certificate.

Are you guys putting down every single SAT/ACT scores? I have a ridiculously low SAT score from my Freshman year. I know it'll be on my Collegeboard report anyway, but shall I include it on my app too?

woody woo sounds interesting but i don't think i'm good at international relations, politics, history and stuff like that.
viva operations research and financial engineering! lol

yy0712, scores from freshman year should be under score choice, so unless you released them, they're not seen by the colleges. I don't think ur supposed to put down every sat score anyway, the application says "highest" verbal and math.

Thanks zantedeschia, but I don't think I was smart enough then to choose the score choice option.
The application had so many spaces for SAT I that I thought we were supposed to include all the scores.

hmm, well all of your scores will show up on your transcript anyway, so you might as well put them down.

On the summer experience, do you list or write in paragraph?

I wrote an "essay" since they ask you what you did in the past two summers, if you listed, woudn't it just be like two bullet points?

thanx!! i hate the minimum word requirement
