Actually…consider where you want to teach because if you attend an education program in that state, it will fulfill the requirements for certification in that state. And many programs include prep and taking that state praxis test…and yes, some states don’t take the results from other states.

Look at U of Arizona. Your GPA would give you basically free tuition.

My son is a music ed vocal major at Rowan and loves it. They gave him enough in scholarships (academic, small out-of-state, and a very generous music department scholarship) to make the total cost less than Temple (and we live in PA). He’ll graduate without any debt, which was really important for us because he wants to get a masters degree in choral conducting.
