Questions, Schools and other fun stuff.

Hello, while I haven't posted in a long time I have few questions to ask.

My first year at community college didn't go as well as I planned. I got three f's and two w's. Although, I have retaken most of the courses and gotten an A. I've managed to shift my GPA from 1.4 to a 3.5. And I'm not applying now, I'm waiting for after fall semester to attempt to apply to schools like Brown, Cornell, BU, Columbia, Marymount, etc for fall 2012.

My highschool record isn't good, but I do have considerable amount of EC's from back then to now, that range in different topics from volunteering, interning at fashion week and working with five star hotels.

I guess what I'm trying to convey is that is realistic for myself to apply for these schools? I do have more time to boost my GPA and get more notable EC's? I just would love some feedback. Also, I'm intended economics major.

Thank you in advance!

If I were in your position, I would finish my Associates (Keep up the good work coming back) get some good EC’s along the way then apply as a transfer student.
