Questions to admission officer

I’m international student, and I’m trying to introduce my self to the admission officers. I asked them questions via email about the availability of on campus housing, the availability of financial aid, how many other international students are there, also about the surrounding area. I know it may sound a little bit silly but can you recommend me several REASONABLE questions that can be asked. Also can I introduce myself via email, or do something like that?

Thank you!

Don't ask questions that are answered on their web site. Unfortunately, the kind of questions that you're asking are answered on virtually all college's web sites, and you sound lazy to be asking adcoms such questions.

IMO, in general, it's a waste of time to bother adcoms with questions so that they can get to know you. Unless you have some specific questions that you truly care about that are NOT answered on the web site or through any other reasonable means such as Internet searchs, don't e-mail adcoms -- who are very busy -- with questions.

Instead, spend your time developing the best application that you can so you can impress the adcoms in the way that most counts: by obviously being the kind of outstanding applicant that they want.
