Questions to ASK the interviewers

<p>I'm sure this is on here somewhere but every search has just turned up threads about questions interviewers ask you. Sooo:</p>

<p>Does anyone have any good questions to ask interviewers?
I'm trying to get passed anything I could find on the school's website, anything an Alumni interviewer really wouldn't know, and questions about the interviewer's experience at the school, which apart from being cliche, doesn't really apply if they are older alums... 2 of my interviewers graduated in the 50's, when college was a whole different world.</p>

<p>So, any ideas?</p>

<p>Come, I refuse to believe that everyone here just asked standard questions like "Why did you choose to go to _____<strong><em>?" or "Do you think that your education from _</em></strong>______ helped you?"</p>

<p>"Knowing me a little bit, can you think of any challenges I would have as a student at X?"</p>

<p>"Knowing my interests a bit, are there organizations or classes or profs at X that you could recommend?"</p>

<p>"How loyal and energized do you find the alumni base?"</p>

<p>"I'm interested in studying Y. Do you have any 1st hand info about that department?"</p>

<p>"How influential is the Greek system at X?"</p>

<p>"How accessible are major cities to X?"</p>

<p>Just off the top of my head</p>

<p>"What other colleges did you consider going to, and why did you consider them and why did you choose X?"</p>

<p>What in your opinion is the best thing about College X? What in your opinion could use some improvement?</p>

<p>"What do you think College X will be in five years?" - i.e., by the time you graduate.</p>

<p>For an alumni interviewer, "What are the biggest changes you've seen at College X since you graduated, and what's stayed constant?"</p>

<p>"What surprised you most about College X - something you found there that you didn't expect before you arrived on campus?"</p>

<p>"What are the downsides of College X?"</p>

<p>"What do you think is the most important thing that characterizes a College X student?"</p>
