I have a few questions about the University of Central Florida. First off, if a student applies to UCF and gets rejected, how long must they wait before applying again? And secondly, I am in the IB program at my school. My GPA unweighted is a 3.22 and weighted is a 4.20. I have all As and Bs and got a 23 on my ACTs. I also play soccer and run track and I am in the National Honor Society. This is a broad question, but by anyone's opinion I would like the know what my chances are of getting in at UCF for the SUMMER semester? Thanks!!

You should be fine. While UCF is getting harder to get into they do realize what the IB program is and how much more you have gone through compared to other students. Also, it helps that you have other things under your belt. I wouldn’t be surprised for you to get into the fall term. However, if you want to play it safe, apply for the summer term.

I may be wrong about this, but you can apply to each semester. I received my undergraduate degree from UCF, and I had to go through the application process again for my masters (start in the fall!). I knew I was in because I interviewed with the director of my program and she already reviewed my stuff. I was told all I needed was to put in the application and I was in. Anyway, I applied for the summer term, and by the time she got my application her available spots for the program were taken. So I had to reapply for the fall term. So don’t quote me on this but it seems like you can apply for every term, but you don’t need it. Make sure you get good recommendations and write great essays.
