questions???

So here is the problem. I took AP calc AB this year and got B- ... Im taking AP calc BC next year. Is it worth it to take the AB exam this year and then take the BC exam next year? I know that BC gives an AB subscore so I feel that it would be pointless to take AB this year.

The reason I'm asking this is that I have 7 other AP exams to study for. It just seems that I would be taking the AB exam for no reason.

Would colleges really care if I did this or should I stick with the AB exam?

If you have 7 other exams and you’re overwhelmed, don’t take it. I don’t think it will make much of a difference since you’re going to take BC next year.

Unless you’re going for some AP Scholar award… Don’t take the AB! Sure, it helped me get national AP scholar, but other than that, it’s a wasted $87 for me :P

If you can handle it, definitely take BC.
