Questions

A Few questions about AS:
1. How hard is it to cross register at GA Tech and how often so students do so?

Is it difficult to play on a sports team and if so are their truly active intramural or club teams for someone who enjoys sports?

Cross-registering at GT is not hard, but it’s only allowed for classes not offered at ASC. It’s not all that common because of the extra trouble/time involved in getting between campuses.

The intramural sports are active, but only a limited number of sports due to the size of the school.

Thanks for the reply. I find it hard to dig up information on ASC. This thread, for instance, is not very active and on ASC is rarely mentioned on the Women’s Colleges board. The school seems quite under the radar, but when I DO get information on it, it is good!

If you or another can answer these questions also, it would be appreciated…
-Is ASC big on ‘traditions’ for various dorms, clubs or the campus as a whole?
-For rather above average or even high performing students, is the college challenging? I ask this solely because it seems those we know looking at it are having it as a safety and say that the diversity is GREAT but it also has an academic diversity that includes some kids not particularly interested in working or who are behind coming from low performing schools.
