<p>I love running. Does anyone know of any clubs or teams at Olin that run?</p>
<p>a lot of people run and will sometimes get a group together to go run. Sometimes an email will go out saying Im going running, email me if you want to go. There's nothing formal as far as I know... its mostly a group of people who all know that they run and go together a lot.</p>
<p>in response 2 this also, there's apparently a move 2 start a cross country thing/club/team next year.....thats pretty much all i know, other than the fact that a handful of people have demonstrated interest.</p>
<p>My son is another who thought MIT was the only school for him until he visited Olin, and he then chose it over MIT and has never been sorry. I can empathize with your parents because I too worried about the lack of alumni and opportunities. I would strongly suggest you apply and have your parents learn more about Olin, see the high ratings it's getting in college guides, see where the current graduating class is going, etc.</p>
<p>As for where the current graduating class is going, I have a few highlights on me right now:</p>
<p>At least each number of people is going to the following school...
1 to Cambridge
3 to Carnegie Mellon
1 to Cornell
1 to MIT
1 to Northwestern
1 to Oxford
1 to Stanford
etc.</p>
<p>Also, companies:</p>
<p>Boeing, IBM, Intel, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, etc.</p>
<p>And of course 3 Fulbright Scholar Finalists and someone going to the Peace Corps.</p>
<p>These stats are as of February 23rd. So a bit outdated, but I think things have only been looking brighter ;).</p>
