<p>Um, yes, there's a huge difference between RD and ED.
ED acceptance rate last year was 26.8%, while RD was only (as stated above) 7.8%.
Regarding the first point: don't worry about it. The 3 won't hurt, and the 5s will only help.</p>
<p>their ED admit rate is high, but the ED class also includes (or atleast most) of the recruited athletes, who an average student is not competing against. The ED pool also contains a higher portion of legacys who also get a boost in admissions, thus I don't think that the actual difference in admit rates for an average princeton applicant differs that significantly between the two rounds/</p>
