Hey everyone, I'm seriously considering going to usc next year but I'm have a lot of trouble deciding. I have a few questions. 1. I keep hearing about how housing is almost full...would it be basically impossible to get new/north/brinkrant at this point? i really want to be in a social dorm. 2. I applied for econ, but I have realized that I definitely want to switch to business. I'm just wondering if it would be difficult to do that once I get there? Also, I received a deans scholarship. Would that transfer over to the business school if I switched? 3. I know that USC has a great business school/connections and everything, especially in CA, but I live in New York and I'm just curious if those connections would hold true out on the east coast? Thank you guys soo much...I'm really confused right now, as you can probably tell lol

1.) Housing fills up very quickly. New and North are the most requested dorms, therefore, they are probably almost full, yes. However, if you are a social person, it won't matter where you live, you can make it a social experience.

2.) Yes, you can switch majors, but you will have to apply to switch your major into the business school. Don't wait too much about it now, you can start dealing with that once you are on campus. And I do not believe your scholarship would be affected.

3) SC connections are certainly strongest in the West, but Marshall is a very respected business school nationally. There are strong alumni groups all over the East coast, and there is even a bar for SC alums in the city.
