hi,
i was just wondering.
by canceling your sat ii scores. will there be any record whatsoever?[like that you ever signed up for them/took them?]

in addition,
if a subject test is only offered once [languages - chinese] or twice [world history] a year and you have something that conflicts with it that cant be moved . is there some sort of way that you can still take the test without not attending the other event?

Nope, no record of the cancellation.

I HIGHLY doubt it. Call CB and verify, but I’m almost 100% positive that they don’t allow you to take the test on a different test date unless it’s for extenuating circumstances (religious rules not allowing for testing on a Saturday, specifically.)

1 no record

2 no. you can’t take it on a ‘special day’ just cuz you’ve got sth else.

thanks for the info.

also,
if you were to take sat ii’s in nov/dec of senior year. would the scores be available for college apps?

Depends if you’re applying ED/EA. The deadlines vary, so I’d check each school’s website.

nov = fine for ED/EA at most schools, definitely OK for regular admissions
dec = definitely ok for reg admissions

thank you all so much!

You’re welcome. Good luck!

also
is it true that some colleges require you send ALL sati/ii scores? and some just want the best?

Again, depends on the school. Some reject Score Choice (notably, Yale/Stanford.) Others don’t. Look into it on the school’s website.
