questionss about purdue.

Hello.. i got into purdue first year engineering.
um.. i have two questions
1) how hard is the class??
I've heard that purdue's engineering programs are very competitive and
the percentage of student who graduate in 4yr is around 35 percent
so..how hard is the class? i mean is it really really hard..?

2)about social life...
em.. i heard that ...there is nothing to do at purdue.. like it is surrounded by
cornfield? ahaha i'm not saying its bad but .. just wondering
and..as an asian(KOREAN), I wanna know if there are few or many koreans..there

Not sure about Engineering that well but I do know it is tough esp. science classes.

Social life-wise, don’t worry about koreans. There are plenty of them out on campus, I’m korean too so I know. There’s a KASA club too so you should join it. There may be a good # of Koreans in Purdue Village since they always seem to be located there every year. It’s surrounded by cornfields but there are a lot of stuff to do. If you don’t mind fraternity parties then there are a good number of them. A lot of sports to play around too at the intramural center.

the first engineering classes are tough but if you manage your time you will do fine. Personally, its taken me awhile to adjust but I think I will be in better shape 2nd semester. Most classes are curved to a B-.

anybody else?? and
thank you guys.

yeah basically what they said…
