Hi, I was just admited to the neuroscience at UT. And that’s defiantly my major of most interest, but I don’t think I want persue medical school anymore so was wondering if a neuroscience student could also take some computer science or engineering courses to prepare for a computational neuroscience or neural engineering career? Thanks in advanced for responses and congrats to everyone else on here who may have just recieved admission
I’ve heard that’s an option, but comp sci classes are hard for nonmajor to get into
You will meet with an advisor at orientation before you register for classes. You can ask them your questions at that time. You don’t really have to declare pre-med or grad school until after the first year of school is finished.
