i dont understand how one studies for SATs/PSATs. I just took one practice test before mine (it was one point away from the score i actually got so it wasn't studying).</p>

<p>At my school (and a lot of schools) students scoring in the top 3 percentile of state exams are invited to take the SAT for like practice. it's actually pretty common.</p>

520math and 450 verbal. now ironically im doing much better in critical reading than math on the psat (58 math 67 cr)</p>

<p>listen to this: i took the ACT in 7th grade and scored a 29. i took it this year and got a 25. i must be getting dumber. i'm taking it again in june, hopefully its better.</p>

<p>ended up with something in the low/mid 1000's. toward the end of the test i remember i stopped answering the analogies and any math i couldn't do w/o work.</p>
