Quick AP Chem scoring question

I took a mock AP exam today, and I just graded it, sooooo I'm wondering what generally would be a 4 and a 5, although I know it changes each year. Either in percentage or points, or some general thing. I think I got a high4/low5 but the grading packet wasn't to clear about it.

For the MC part, this is quoted directly from my PR prep book.

" Number Correct-(.25 x number wrong) = MC score, ignore the questions you left blank. The best possible score on the MC section is 75. Roughly speaking,
*If your MC score is greater than 25, you will probably score at least a 3 on the test.
*If your MC score is greater than 35, you will probably score at least a 4 on the test.
*If your MC score is greater than 50, you will probably score a 5 on the test."

when I was looking around, I read something similar to that, but I want to know also when you include the frqs

I heard that most of the time the MC questions for each year stay the same and that's why they're not released for free like the FRQs.
Is this true?

well, they don't release the MC questions for any test for free if that means anything.
However, i could see them having similar questions year to year, there's only a certain amount of knowledge that they expect you to know.
but maybe its just a collegeboard scheme to make more money, i mean when tests are $25 plus $6 shipping, thats ridiculous
