I was just finishing my application and I ran across a little problem. There is a section on the required docs in the CIS for the Candidate Academic Information and one for your High School Transcript. so:

(1)Is the transcript submission part of the Cand. Academic. Info?

(2) what all is in the Candidate Academic Info?

Thank y'all very much!

You need to request your guidance office to send a copy of your transcripts to the USNA Admissions office. You will also need them to send your GPA, and a class rank (estimated rank if your particular school does not rank). In addition, you need to contact the College Board to have SAT scores sent directly. If you have taken the ACT, then make sure to request to have those scores sent.

The Candidate Academic info is just that- your transcripts (grades, GPA, class rank) and your SAT/ACT scores.

Thank you very much. I just wanted to make sure there weren't any strings left untied.

no problem.

Suggestion: have another "set of eyes" look over everything before you submit.... no matter how many times I hit spell check, something always falls through the cracks!!!

thanks again! I've had my personal statment looked at by a dozen people and I'm still adding stuff to it!

The Candidate Academic Information is a separate item from your transcript and SAT/ACT scores. It is a specific form that is sent to your Guidance Counselor when you provide his/her contact information in CIS. It asks some questions like how GPA and class rank are calculated and it also requests that the counselor send a hard copy of your official transcript to USNA.
